Frequently Asked Questions about Yoga Events in Asturias
Do I need to have yoga experience?
No. All practices are multilevel, accessible, and adapted to each body.
What style of Yoga is practised?
We normally practice Multi-level Vinyasa Yoga adapted for ALL levels.
We also do Mindful Yoga on other occasions when the event requires it (such as events where the subsequent activity is more intense).
Can I come alone?
Yes, many people come alone and end up finding companionship and natural conversation.
Can I attend only part of the event (yoga only, or yoga + brunch)?
Yes. For almost all experiences, you can choose to attend the entire event or just a part of it. Please indicate this when booking, and I will confirm the options and the corresponding price.
Do you host private events for closed groups?
Yes. We design bespoke experiences for hen parties, birthdays, corporate teams, team-building events, and any group that wants to experience Asturias in a special way. Write to us and we'll organise it together.
Do the meals have vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options?
Yes. Always. Let me know when you book and we'll arrange it.
How many people go to each event?
The groups are small by design: between 10 and 25 people depending on the activity. We want the experience to be warm and intimate, not overcrowded.
How far in advance do I need to book?
It depends on the event, but the sooner the better: places are limited and fill up quickly. Events are only confirmed when there's a minimum group, so booking early also helps the event go ahead.
Where do people come from to the events?
From all over Asturias: Gijón, Oviedo, Avilés and nearby municipalities, but also from outside the region, such as Madrid, Galicia, Cantabria, León, the Basque Country, and from abroad. If you are coming from outside Asturias, we can advise you on nearby accommodation with special rates at collaborating venues.
In which area of Asturias are the events held?
In various councils across Asturias: coast, interior, mining basins... The location changes with each event, season and period and is part of the experience. It is precisely this that differentiates Karuna Yoga Events. The exact location is always shared upon confirmation of the booking.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothing, a mat if you have one, water, and a desire to enjoy.
I'll tell you the rest before each experience.
What if it rains or something changes?
Experiences are always designed to adapt.
If it rains, there's always a «sheltered» Plan B.
If the activity changes, an equivalent alternative is proposed.
