Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Booking and confirmation
A place is booked through the website karunayogaeventos.com or the available contact channels, and is confirmed once payment of the amount or deposit has been received and a confirmation email has been sent. Each experience requires a minimum of 10 participants in order to take place.
2. Cancellation by the participant
Cancellations must be communicated in writing. The following scale will apply depending on the notice given:

The retention provided for in the last bracket reflects the financial commitments that the organiser has irreversibly undertaken with the partner establishments and professionals close to the event date, and does not constitute a penalty.
However, in cases where there is no right to a refund, the participant may opt for any of the alternatives set out in sections 3 and 4.
3. Transfer of the place to another person
The participant may transfer their place to another person free of charge, provided they give at least 48 hours' notice and supply the substitute person's details, in order to process the relevant insurance and communicate any allergies or intolerances.
4. Change of date
In the event of cancellation with less than 7 days' notice for justified reasons (illness, accident or other verifiable unforeseeable circumstances), the participant may request the transfer of the amount paid to another experience within the following 6 months, subject to availability. This option may be exercised once per booking.
5. Cancellation by the organiser
- a) Failure to reach minimum group size. If the experience does not reach the minimum number of participants, the organiser may cancel it by giving at least 5 calendar days' notice and refunding the full amount paid, or, if the participant prefers, transferring it to another date.
- b) Adverse weather conditions or force majeure. When the companies providing the activity determine that conditions prevent it from being carried out safely, the organiser will offer an equivalent alternative activity, a postponement, or, if neither option is possible or acceptable to the participant, a full refund.
- c) Reasons attributable to the organiser. In the event of cancellation for any other reason attributable to the organiser, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
6. Programme modifications
The organiser reserves the right to substitute the venue, establishment or planned activity with others of equivalent characteristics when circumstances beyond her control arise, informing the participant as far in advance as possible. If the modification substantially alters the nature of the booked experience, the participant may opt for a full refund.
7. Delays and interruption of the activity
Punctuality is essential for the proper running of the day. Failure to arrive at the meeting point at the stated time, or voluntary abandonment of the experience once it has begun, does not give rise to any right to a refund. If abandonment is due to a sudden illness, each case will be considered individually.
8. Refund timeline and method
Refunds will be made by the same payment method used for the booking, within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date the organiser confirms the cancellation, unless the participant expressly agrees to a different method.
9. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 103(l) of the consolidated text of the General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for leisure services when a specific date or period of performance is established, as is the case with Karuna Yoga Eventos experiences.
10. Complaints
Karuna Yoga Eventos has official complaints forms available to consumers. Any complaint may be directed to karunayogaeventos@gmail.com, with the organiser undertaking to respond within a maximum of one month.
